Acid Wash Nails

Hello :)  TGIF !!  Today I will show you a manicure using the 'acid wash' method.  My first attempt was a disaster - I used too much acetone that my base color came off.  This was my second attempt which is somewhat presentable.  I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze Elephant Walk - a light grey, then sealed it with a topcoat.  The second layer I used was Barielle Grape Escape - a medium purple, waited for it to dry then added the third layer using Julep Annie -  a medium blue.  After it was dry, I dipped my small angle brush in acetone and started removing some layers.  Let's take a look at these photos ...

This mani actually took longer than usual, I had to wait for each layer to dry, plus the patience to remove layer by layer !!  Don't get me wrong, I love how this turned out :)

What do you think?

Thank you for dropping by.
