Adventures In Stamping - Red

Hello :)  Yup, it's Sunday and today's theme is Over a Red Base.  I used 2 coats of Nubar Avant-Garde - a matte brownish red with a hint of copper - from their 2009 Modern Matte Collection.  Image plate was from Gals Princess set GA3 using Barielle Granite Glitter - a grayish silver metallic.  I used scotch tape to tape off the tips and added Granite Glitter.  Let's take a look at these photos :)

Before I painted the tips - I found it too boring, don't you agree?

I couldn't believe Avant-Garde had been sitting there untried !!  What a gorgeous shade !!  I actually prefer this shade glossy rather than the matte look which didn't do anything for me.  You could still purchase it from Nubar and here's the link.
