DIY Nail Art Decals

Hello :)  I have tried to make my own decals but failed several times.  This time I really did it !!  My problem was not letting it dry completely and this time I waited overnight.  The tutorial is from Wacky Laki.  You might want to check Anutka's other great tutorials too :)

I painted piCture pOlish Black on a ziploc sandwich bag.  While it was still wet, I dropped a few drops of polishes (list below) on random spots, then I picked up the whole bag and swirled it around - NOT with a toothpick or any tool.  Be gentle !

Here's a list of the Ozotic multichrome shades I used:

504 - flashes blue, red, purple and gold;
506 - flashes blue, cyan, violet and pink;
507 - flashes green, gold and yellow;
520 - flashes red and gold.

And of course with all those polishes, the decals were thick !!  Look at my ring finger and I messed up the tip of my pointer.  The cleanup took a long time because they were so thick. I had to keep brushing acetone on the excess to 'melt' the polish, so the black polish got all over the place - please excuse the messy stained cuticles.  Well, I'm learning as I go.  Next time, I just won't use black !

Despite the cleanup and the mess, I really liked how it turned out.  I tried water marbling with these shades but the colors never came out this strong !!
