OPI Stay the Night - Liquid Sand

Hello :)  Today I will show you one of the OPI Mariah Carey Collection 2013 that features the new Liquid Sand finish - Stay the Night.  It is a blackened base with red reflective glitter.  I was really surprised of how it looked and felt in real life - very dull dirty looking and felt rough almost like sandpaper but NOT sharp.  The finish, however, didn't bother me at all; it didn't get caught in my hair or scratch my skin.  I never was a fan of the gritty feel but I really liked the unique finish.  You must wait a couple of minutes between each coat for the texture finish to come alive.  Let's take a look at these photos :)

2 coats of topcoat and I could still feel the texture.  Probably a coat of Gelous then topcoat would smooth it out

Used some striping tape for the diagonal lines then painted a coat of the same shade - Stay the Night and left it at that

No issue with formula or application.  In fact, the formula was great and application was smooth.  However, I was wearing this on my right hand without topcoat and the middle finger chipped within a couple of hours.  The rest stayed fine for 24 hours.

I was so sure this was going to be a pain to remove.  Well, it wasn't.  I use felt (instead of cotton pads) to remove nail polish anyway and this did take longer than the usual creme polish removal but not as bad as glitter removal.
