Hello :) Hope you had a great weekend :) For me, I'm coming down with a cold :(
Today I will be showing you Julep Laura - an olive khaki creme (as an add-on) from my February (Classic with a Twist) Maven box. I really love love love this shade so much that I decided to use it first !! Formula was a bit thick but manageable. It only took a coat to reach opacity and photos are shown with Julep's newest Freedom Polymer Top Coat - I will talk about this topcoat later in the post.
Lobster hand !!!!!
A dotticure with Laura, Robin - Robin's egg blue creme & Otte - a camel neutral creme; topped with Freedom topcoat
Still couldn't get away with the lobster hand :(
Julep's description of the Freedom Polymer Top Coat: Extend the life of your manicure in minutes with Julep’s Freedom Polymer Top Coat. Activated by natural light, this innovative formula creates a unique polymer force field that prevents chipping for days longer than regular top coat, leaving your nails with a gel-like shine (but without gel-removal hassle). My opinion: I wore this dotticure for a couple of days and no chip or tipwear at all. However, Julep's polishes hardly chipped on me so no proof there. The topcoat really did shine like they claimed. I have never tried any gel polish so I don't know how shiny they are supposed to be. But I tell you, this topcoat is MUCH shinier/glossier from the ones I usually use - Poshe, Wicked Fast (Cult Nails) & Fast Forward (China Glaze) ... One downside to this is the price, $14.40/bottle .27oz/8ml even with the Maven discount.
What do you think? Thank you for dropping by :)

Your swatch of Laura is gorgeous, it actually kicked me into picking that box up since I needed a backup of the Oxygen nail treatment!
@Gnarly Gnails - Thank you. Actually I haven't tried the Oxygen Nail Treatment yet but I guess if you needed a backup, then it must be a good product :)
