Hello :) Today I have a color changing shade by Pretty & Polished - May Flowers. From P&P's description:
May Flowers is a lovely color changing nail polish made for Spring! This polish goes from a gorgeous green to white with the temperature. Within this color changing base you will find lots of gorgeous Spring colored glitters including hex, circle, and flower shapes!
Our color changers are effected by temperature. Your natural body temperature can sometimes warm them enough to change or perhaps when you have a hot/cold drink in your hand or when you put your hands in running water. Watch them go back and forth over and over in cold and hot water!
Color changing polishes are also known to be a little thick because of the large amount of pigments used. We do use a thinning agent to help with this thickness.
Photos show 2 coats of May Flowers; topped everything off with a coat of Gelous followed by a coat of HK Girl top coat
This is the look after clean up, Gelous & top coat
Look at these colors !!!!
Dipped in cold water for the color change and had to work real fast, that's why the water drops ...
Out in the sun !!
In the heat, the base color didn't change to exactly white - had a little bit of green hue in it and I tested it in the shower too :)I was really fascinated by the color change itself lol, and of course the shades as well. I loved all the colors of the glitter !! I just loved everything about this polish !!
Also Chelsea mentioned that the color changing polishes are known to be thick? To me, it wasn't thick at all - it was just perfection !! In my opinion, these are better than the glitter ones when it comes to application and formula.
What do you think? Thank you for dropping by :)
